If you have any questions or suggestions please raise these either in #staff-chat or DM the Community Manager Jedson on discord.
Submissions with the topic ‘Request-Song’ should be requests from new network members who haven’t yet passed their trial period. All new network members should be posting all their new future uploads from when they join the network for their first couple of weeks so we can manually review them before enabling the automation for their channel.
Please do the following to respond to a song request:
Check that they are actually a network member as on the rare occasion an non network member will submit a song. If a non network member makes a submission then please send a message in the #staff-chat channel so the community manager can review the channel and decide if they want to invite them as a network member.
Check that the network member is still on trial period/don’t have the automation enabled for their channel as some new members sometimes still manually submit forgetting that they were told about the automation. If this happens, please send a message in #staff-chat for them to make contact with the member.
Check that they have advertised the website in their video description, there description should include ‘🌐 Slowed Reverb Network We are a member of the reverbslowed.com network, you can discover more nightcore at ’ or something similar as network members are allowed to amend this if they wish. If they don’t include this then please send a message in #staff-chat so they can contact the member.
Watch the full video to ensure the audio quality is good, that there are no issues such as ticking sounds, no goofy animations or sound effects and that the images in the video are appropriate.
If all seems well then select a playlist from the dropdown menu for the song to be added into.
Select a playlist from the dropdown menu on the right as highlighted below and then press the tick button to confirm your selection:
If the notify field is set to no, then no further action is required. If this is set to yes then please notify the network member that there song has been approved in the #chatting channel. I normally type ‘Thanks for your submission @user mention it’s been approved :) LINK TO THE VIDEO ON WEBSITE’ however you are welcome to customise this message to your own liking to give it your own twist if you wish. You can get the direct link to the song on the website by going into the music tab, then select ‘Music list’:
Then either click on the YouTube URL ID which will take you to the song on the website and then you can copy the link from the address bar, or you can right click on the YouTube URL ID and select ‘Copy Link Address’.
Submissions with the topic ‘Apply-Member’ should be applications from Nightcore YouTube channels who are wanting to join us as a network member, if you notice one of these then please send a message in #cm-to-do for the community manager to respond to.
Submissions with the topic ‘Bug-Reports’ should be any reports from users stating that there is an issue with the website. Please check and confirm that the issue is indeed an issue and not user error and then send the details in #cm-to-do for the community manager to respond to the user. If you are certain it is an actual bug/issue with the site then please send the details in #dev-to-do.
Submissions with the topic ‘Business-Enquiries’ are normally spam (which we very rarely get) so can be ignored and the community manager or developer will delete these when they next log into CMS, however if there is a submission which appears genuine or you may think could be of interest then please send the details in #cm-to-do.
Submissions with the topic ‘Other’ could be anything, sometimes spam, sometimes a user selecting the wrong topic, if you aren’t sure what to do with a submission in this topic or any topic for that matter then please send a message in #cm-to-do.
